Speaker Failures In HAIER LED TVs
These two TVs belong to the hospital where I work and were brought to me stating that the sound was distorted.
Case (1) – Haier LED TV Model LE22B600: I carried this TV to my home in my two-wheeler. After opening and cleaning the inside, when I looked at the speakers, I noticed that the cone papers were torn, which is a visible damage. I had the replacement speakers in stock and therefore cut the wires and joined it to the new speakers and fit it. The TV was found working very well with good sound output.
Case (2) – Haier TV Model LE32B9000: This TV, which was brought home by the hospital staff, had come to me for a speaker replacement in July, 2022. The replaced speaker lasted only for one year and four months, as it came back in December, 2023.
The volume was found to be set at 100%, which would have blown the speakers soon. After opening and cleaning the inside, I fetched replacement speakers and fixed it. The TV was tested and taken by me in my two-wheeler for delivery to the Hospital.
Well, this type of easy services fetch us revenue as well as satisfaction of a different kind, especially after we toiled around over many complicated cases.
So, double satisfaction got collected to the bag! (I do take charges for such services. I do free service of only computer SMPS, as these are very cheaply available and any charges would make it economically unviable repair).

Yes, true! The manufacturers are compromising on quality due to keen competition, with resultant earning for people like us! That's the present trend!
