Unknown dead device was brought back to life
When I got to the shop I found this unknown device sitting on my work bench. According to my brother next door, a doctor brought this device for repair. I did not know the fault of this device but there is one way to find out.
As I powered up the device nothing happened and when I did some voltage testing, I did not get any voltage reading anywhere in the device.
I checked the main voltage port for voltage reading I got nothing there either which indicates either a bad power port or bad transformer.
When checking the main power transformer, it was giving me the right voltage reading but when I checked the main port, I found broken pins and they had corrosions all over it.
I had some brand new power ports available in my shop and right away I replaced the faulty one and did some checking.
This time I was getting 12 AC reading on the main power port indicating a problem solved to this issue.
The question here, would it power up? Let us find out.
As you can see in the photo, the device came on and all the LED lights were on and that is a happy sign to me.
That what was found on the back of the device but still I am not sure what kind of device was it.
Anyway I put everything back together and called the customer for pick up. I was hoping to get some answers about this device.
No answers still about this device because the doctor sent his son to pick up the device and when I asked this guy about the device, he said something about a device for skin but he had no idea about the function of it.
What matter is the device is up and running and to that I can say
Mission Accomplished.

Good job, I wonder however if the IR waves coming from these simple leds are really doing any good for our skin? But from the blue UV led light pen that is used to activate the UV hardening glue it probably does something positive somehow.

Albert: The device incorporates a plurality of spaced infrared diodes which are actuated sequentially so as to inhibit body adaptation which may reduce the effectiveness of the treatment. Additionally, a single point diode is provided at one end of the device which is specifically designed for localized point treatment of other body surface areas.
have a good day
