    Sir Jestine
    Volt / Ampere is rating of every electrical load. and VA is also the unit of total power consuming measure unit.

    there are several formulas available, but few of them are common and easy to understand. Like wise,

    P = VI is the basic formula which drive in further calculations. for example:

    V= voltages= P(power) / I(Ampere)
    I = Ampere = P(power) / V(voltage)
    P= power= V (voltage) X I (Ampere)

    thanks you
