Why LCD Television Screen Crack?
Do you know why the LCD TV screen can crack by itself? If you refer to this link https://www.jestineyong.com/?p=1373 you would see that one of the answer was because the LCD TV was mounted on the wall giving pressure to the screen thus it crack. The problem now is that there have been few emails saying that the LCD TV screen cracked while they were watching show and the TV did not mount to any wall. Here is a comment that i got about LCD TV screen problem:
“Last night i was watching tv on my samsung (cant remember how big) LCD tv, and i heard a popping noise, looked up and saw what looked like a contact point with spider cracks working their way out. i had a check around and nothing had fallen and hit the screen, but the tv was still playing. as i was the only one in the house it freaked me out a little. But as i watched the tv the cracks seemed to melt away. Being replaced by the image that was supposed to be there.
The tv has never been bumped or anything. there isnt even anything around it that could knock it either.”
DC.
If you know why the LCD TV screen that can crack by itself, i would like to hear from you-thanks!

We had exactly the samething happen. Our set is less than a year old. It is a samsung 42inch. We have contacted the service center to have them come out. Will post an answer when we get a tech out here with answers.

We found out why our cracked. Samsungs manufactured in June of 2010 have to power turned up to high. Samsung will tell you thats not true, but our repair man told us that had numerous sets (samsung) all produced in the same month do exactly the same thing. The screen cracked for what seemed to be no reason.
samsung will not do anything for you, good luck.
This will be the last Samsung product we purchase they have NO customer service and will stonewall you at every turn.
