Hand Fan Repair
This hand fan was sent to me by my sister in-law through my wife when she visited her for family wedding ceremony about 23km away from us,infact two other washing machines were brought along also with it for repair too.
The complaint was that the fan was ‘not powering on’ though it charges, this type of problem is usually thought to do with battery.
So after confirming the complaint,I disassemble it,from here I can see the internal circuit board, its li-ion battery carries its bms(battery management system) for protection against damage due to over current/ voltage charge
In other to be sure of what I’m doing,I have to check if bms is still good, there are two ic in bms circuit ( 8205a & dwo1),8205 is an n- mosfet which i find to be good after testing it,since bms is good,I removed it,
transfer it to new replacement battery, soldered it and assemble everything back, power it on, fan started turning again
This’s the finished repair work.
