A customer brought this massager for repair. This massager was for an old lady who needed it badly so it was my priority to get it fixed.

This is the massager that sits inside a rubbery housing. When powered on the device it did not come on even when I pushed the power button.

These are the massager head that were suppose to rotate to give some kind of comfort for that old lady.

First thing I checked was the power supply and sure enough I was getting 12 DC volts from that charger that has 2 amps ratings.

I also got into the power board and it was getting the right voltages there as well. Since the voltages are getting to the motors then I should be inspecting them and see what they are not rotating.

The metal rings were too dirty to make connections and the motors were jammed and needed a lot of cleaning and lubrications.

This is motor on the other side of the massager.

It was dirty and jammed as well. As I did the cleaning and the lubrications on both motors, I put the machine back together; the massager was back to life.

If you look at the photo you will see an orange light on, that is the heating pad on that massage rotator. It was only on one side (first I thought it was a fault).

I called the customer (the old lady’s son) who came in a hurry to pick up the massager and he told me how appreciative he was for getting this fixed so soon. Later on I got a call from the old lady herself to thank me for a fast repairing service and she was so happy to get her massage repaired and maintained.

Mission Accomplished.
