Dear MR Young i have a problem with a panasonic TV. CT27G24A the 33 volts from the flyback that is supplying the tuner is low, i have tried two other tuners and voltage is still low if i remove the pin the 33 volts is suppilying it comes up to the correct voltage i want to know if a defective eprom iC can cause this problem .The TV has no Rasta no sound and no picture.THank you.

HI Henry,
Usually bad eeprom ic would not cause such problem unless it is shorted. Try trace backward from the 33 volt line and if you find any e-caps, try direct replace it and retest. If the filter cap tested good then directly replace the output diode because sometimes diode can be breaking down under load. Since you have replaced two tuners thus tuner was not the cause of the problem.
