About Sunwa Analogue Multimeter

By on June 22, 2013

In your book “electronic component testing” you stated that you use an analog meter with a 9v and 2x 1.5v.  I looked up the specs on the meter you use, the Sunwa yx-360trn and it only uses 2x 1.5v.  Is that right and if so what analog multimeter do you suggest?  By the way I have many of your ebooks.  Thanks for all your help.

Answer:

Actually there are many almost similar analog meter model in the market. Insist on the 2 x 1.5 volt and 1 x 9 volt meter. or look for the one that has the X 10 k ohm range. Without the x 10 k range one can’t test the fet and other semiconductor accurately.  Thanks for the support on my ebook.
