Another Basic Repair Course Completed

By on March 31, 2011

This time there were 7 participants and most of them have very little knowledge in electronics repair. One came from Sarawak, one from Kelantan, one from Penang and another one from Johor.  This proved that when a person have a passion for certain things they do not mind coming from far as long as they could learn something new in their life.  Some brought along their machine board (mostly industrial board) for me to check and i have advised  them on how to troubleshoot it. Here are the photos taken during the 3 day basic electronic repair course that was conducted in my office:

    Hello again Jestine,
Can you tell me if the CCFL LAMP TESTER by SERVITEC you show on your Utube video is available for retail sale?
Without a CCFL tester It is difficult to diagnose if any tubes are defective.

    HI Torregosa,
Try check for dry joints in the power, high voltage and crt board side. Maker sure there is no bad e-caps in the power side.
