1) Noisefit ColorFit NAV+ Digital Watch: This belonged to me; a gift received from my elder son a few years back, to keep track of my steps and sleeps! He (a bachelor) is always genuinely concerned about the health of his parents. Recently, the battery was getting drained quickly and the watch was getting very hot also. So, I located the four screws underneath the watch and removed it. The bottom portion which contains the sensor, leds and charging points, is attached to the mother board through a flexible connector. I pried it out carefully. Then desoldered the battery and removed it from its sticker. You can see the inside of this watch:

Then fetched a replacement battery from the local electronics shop. As you can see, the original battery is a 3,8V battery. But what was available in the market was 3.7V Battery.

But it matched the wattage; in fact, it was slightly more. I fixed the battery and switched on and was glad to see the watch functioning again normally after a full charge.

how to fix digital watch

I linked the watch afresh with my mobile for synchronization using their NoiseFit application already installed in my mobile. For linking, we need to keep the button on the side pressed upon which it blinks for Bluetooth linking. Then we have to allow sharing of data for its proper function synchronized with our mobile.

2) Philips HQ7390 Shaver : This belonged to my same son, who was on a visit to my home. He complained of battery getting discharged quickly. Same like the first case. In order to open the shaver, we need to remove the fixing screws and gently pry out the cover. Then remove top cover from its locks gently.

Then we can get access to the PCB that holds the battery on the other side. I desoldered the two points and plucked the battery out from its sticker. Following pictures would help you follow the steps that I took for dismantling:

The battery used was US14500V Li-ion battery. I got the exact replacement and fixed it. Assembled the unit back and left it for charging. It worked very well, making both of us happy.

The double satisfaction was just waiting for completion to jump into the bag and I happily allowed it to do so. (LOL)

As long as those lipo battery packs in smart watches are still kept tiny and have their overvoltage, overcurrent and assumably also a temperature sensor protection circuit attached there is not much harm they can do. The over heating smart watch likely already was a warning to check on the Lipo and luckily it didn't explode or catch fire.
Sadly replacing those tiny Lipo packs not always fixes a fast discharging pack in a smart watch. Which I did about a year ago. Because that cheap China smart watch with unknown modelnumber was still not fixed afterwards.
And another 5V usb chargeable smart watch model EVR.01.447 with bluetooth version 4.0 can't be fixed because it can't even be opened at all! Because it is completely sealed in its waterproof case.

update: After another quick check I today was finally able to open the walking step counter smart watch model EVR.01.447 by peeling of the silicon rubbery enclosure all around the sides of this watch and able to open the inside mini board with its 14 pins flexprint oled screen on top. And noticed the small 3.7V 90mAh 341423 size lipo with 45 degrees Celsius safety fuse in its plus wire. No idea how it originally was charged but anyway too cheap to fix but always handy for its small spare parts. It was controlled by a small processor with partnumber TLSR8232 F512ET24 ZYC2222 DOO266.
