Just completed the Higher Advanced Electronics Repair Course for 7 participants. There were five foreign students attended the course (two from the Philippines, one from Mauritius, one from Singapore, one from Lebanon and the other two were local).     I see reballing bga chips was part of the advanced training. I guess they also used some kind of small pre-heater on their desks? (I am curious what small device they exactly used). Congratulations to all participants!

      Hi Albert,

      We did not use the pre-heater on the BGA reballing unless if the IC really hard to be removed. It was the hot air blown from the bottom to the top to remove those components that was soldered to a double sided track.
