Dell 1504FP Using The Same Board As Samsung 153V
A buyer of mine emailed me this:
Jestine,
I recently bought your book and am working on two Dell 1504FP LCD
monitors. After working through the problems and solutions outlined I
have found that one of them has a shorted IC on the inverter board.
(This monitor is made by Samsung and is identical internally to the 153V
shown in your book.) In the book you list the IC as a 4532m, AD4E10, or
BBD3N13. The IC on my board has two lines of characters: 4600 and
AD4G33. Have you found a replacement part number for this IC. I am
having some trouble in locating one.
Thanks,
James
P.S. You may want to post on your blog that the Dell 1504FP LCD is the
same internally as the Samsung 153V.
And here is my replied to him:
Hi James,
