Electronics Stuff That I Bought

Last two weeks went to center of town (Pasar Road) to buy some electronics stuff for the coming Advanced Electronics Repair course students to use. I bought advanced project kits, solder lead, test probes, solder iron, one rim of single core cable, 24 volt linear transformer and some other stuff. The brand of the solder that I bought was Hakko. This Hakko model (N453GP) is different from the 981 dual mode Hakko solder gun. It has a smaller heat element diameter where the smaller solder tip can be inserted. The usage will be in soldering SMD components. Hakko 981 model have some difficulty dealing with SMD components. Well, sometime we just have to invest on the things that can help us to cut our repair time. Check out the photos below:

HOW MUCH IS HAKKO SOLDERING IRON? DOES IT INCLUDED MORE TIP. THANKS SIR.

HI Zed,
The Iron is about USD30.00 and it comes with only one tip. The rest of the tip you need to buy.

You seem to keep buying 24V transformers... what are you doing with all those?

Those are for my students to use in building their own power supply.
