Dear Sir, I have a LG monitor model 500, its voltage at collector of HOT is fluctuing from 46 to 176, if we remove HOT then the capacitor of 47mfd/160v was blows. Please suggest.

HI Amit,
Without the HOT in certain monitor the B+ cap will blow. I suggest that you visit this link:

Thanks Jestine, the link is very informative, my problem is that in this monitor i found that the B+ is varying. Highest it goes to 176v due to this HOT blows off. So I have disconnect B+ to flyback transformer and connect a 100 watt bulb to it. If I will disconnect a 5v and 7v supply at out put of SMPS then the voltage is comes to stable at 46v. These supply are connected to Microprocessor SAMSUNG N307A, and IC SAMSUNG U309 respectively. Please let me know the reason the increse of voltage to 176v(even if B+ to the flyback transformer is disconnected)

Hi Amit,
Check the optoisolator circuit to see if there is any resistor that turn into high ohm.

dear sir,in lg color tv it runs in but after 5 minutes the light is deeming .i have checked boost supply nd heater voltage are good. the eht no. is 6174z-6006e.what is the reason.is crt defective?
