Have You Use Capacitor Connected In Parallel Before?
I know that it is quite rare to connect two capacitors in parallel to form the value that you need. The reason for it is because capacitors are quite easy to get from any local electronics shop. Even there are lots of capacitors can be found from junk electronic boards too. The formula for the capacitors connected in parallel is opposite to resistors in parallel. A 100 UF 50 Volt parallel with another 100uf 50 volt will give a result of 200uf 50 volt. The working voltage of parallel capacitors is equal to the lowest working voltage rating in the combination. For example, a 1000uf 16v parallel with another 1000uf 35 volt, the result will be 2000uf 16 volt.
Even though you have not use this parallel capacitors before, it is good to know about this formula. Who knows one day you might come across a capacitor value that you have never seen before and this formula will definitely help you.

Sir jestine
the above topic is very interesting because off magic operations.
for example: if we connected two or three resistance parallel in circuits the value of resistance becomes reduce but in above case. the capacitor value in parallel becomes add or plus.
For capacitor total value = Ct= C1 + C2 + C3
For Parallel resistance total value = Rt= 1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3
thanks you

HI Amir,
Ya it i like a magic operation.

Mr. Jestine, terima kasih atas gambar diatas, jadi saya teringat dengan capasitor hubungan paralel dan hubungan seri.Kalau boleh tahu apa anda punya rumus tentang capasitor hubungan paralel dengan resistor.terimakasih.
