HP Laser Jet 1020 Plus Printing Image Problem Solved
Received one HP Laser Jet 1020 Plus printer in my workshop for repair.
As per customer statement while he gives print command to the printer; pages comes out with the printed Matter with black sprinkles on whole Page.
For confirmation of the fault symptom I have connected the printer to my computer and given self test, I have got the printout exact fault stated by the customer.
Causes for this type of print symptoms are mainly due to
1 Bad Toner Cartridge Unit.
2 Dust In fuser assembly.
3 Dust In Scanner assembly.
On initial visual inspection I didn’t found the dust inside the Printer hence I have took out the toner cartridge, on opening the flap of Imaging Drum I found very thin line like scratches on the surface of the Imaging drum.
(I am not getting proper photo of the Imaging drum because of its reflective surface.) So on doubt on the cartridge I have arranged the Cartridge for the testing. On testing the self test I got the crisp printout without toner sprinkles (Black Dots) on it.
Here my doubt comes true the problem is with the toner Cartridge hence I have called up the guy who is doing toner refilling work for me, on his arrival I stated the problem of the printout and showed him the sample printout which I have taken from the bad toner cartridge, he also confirmed the problem with the imaging Drum.
As I have already discussed my doubt of the imaging drum with him when I have called him up hence he brought the new Imaging Drum with him and started his work on replacing new drum.
He took out self test of the printer. Wow printing image is like new printer and problem is solved.

I'm glad not having a single Laserprinter Yogesh. They often smell because of the O3 produced and the Toner isn't exactly healthy for our longs either. The nano particles are so small you need a special Vacuum Cleaner like the Convax 3000p. And those are expensive. Sadly my brother recently bought a used 3000p Toner Cleaner. But it must be defect because it doesn't suck up any air. Although both 2-step AC Motors (1 used, and 1 brandnew!) rotate fine. It should suck about 300L a second if the specs are right. But we now think both (wht its called 2-step) Fan's on the Motor-axe must be wrong? Strangely there is no service-manual or user guide of this Cleaner, so we are in a kind of vacuum here.

Albert,
Try with smaller attachment with vacuum cleaner like rubber pipe of around 5mm to 10mm you have to do some modification by fixing pipe reducer.
thanks for the comment.

The Convac 3000p motor is placed in the original Convac 3000p Vacuum Cleaner Suitcase. And its original filters and original vacuum cleaner Hose is used. So we still haven't got a clue why the perfect at good speed rotating Motor sucks. But only because it really does not clean at all like mentioned! (LOL!)
