    Hi Ben,

Resistor would not cause the fuse to blow. You may need to check on the bridge rectifier, direct replace the posistor or even check on the semiconductors.

    HI Ben,

You may need to check on the voltage that supply to the inverter IC. A bad mainboard may cause such problem.

    HI Ben,

r12 may indicate .12 ohm and is a very low ohm resistor and your normal meter can't check that thus you are thinking it is shorted. You may need a Blue ESR meter to check a low ohm resistor value.

    HI Ben,

Posistor can't be test and you need to direct replace and retest. For the bridge rectifier you can test the individual diode in the package using meter. All these testing i have compiled it into an ebook at Testing Electronic components dot com.

    HI Ben,

May i know what two boards you are referring to? I believe one of the board that had cause the fuse to blow and you need to check on the semiconductors

    HI Ben,

If the power fet is located in power section then you can use K2645 as replacement.
