So for testing connected this mouse to my setup it works for say 10 minute and started to stop the cursor moving.

So for Further diagnosis I have opened the mouse just remove one screw – flip top cover and slide forward little bit.

After opening I have started visual inspection……….

I have suspected some dry solder on the PCB but on inspection everything is seems to be Ok no dry solder or any physical damage is found.

I have removed everything out of the case and connected the mouse again on the setup for testing this time it works fine no freezing /hanging……I have put everything in the case again and checked it again start freezing intermittent…….

Now I suspected the cable this is 5 core cables. For intermittent problem you can’t confirm by checking continuity simple way is to cut this cable or replace the new cable and see.

Mostly these types of cables are damaged form either on end connector side or device side.

So I cut the cable from device side. Because when you moving the mouse

This is the side of cable which is getting bend frequently.

      waleed,
For any equipment which required continuous movement for operating
My first suspect is always cable may be because stiffness.

Cutting the cable in the problem area to get rid of the broken copper wire connection is the best solution here, since buying a new mouse cable is almost impossible! As only new mouses have new cables.

I have encountered this problem many times usually the cable is at fault mostly from the end in which there is too much movement

    Derek Nathainel,
Stiffness of cable & bad quality of wires used inside are main cause.
