New LCD TV Repair Ebook By Kent Liew

My repair friend Kent Liew has just launched his new ebook on LCD TV Repair. I've already got a copy from him. Here is the review:

1) The ebook is about 90 pages

2) It covers 27 brands of LCD TV

3) Some brands have one problem/solution while others have few

4) It has over 50 color photos to assist on the repair depending on the problem.

In the last section it has the "Fast Search Fault Index". This means you can use the reference in the "Fast Search Fault Index" to help you to find the solution in your type of LCD TV fault. For example, if the Hitachi LCD TV that you are repairing have one vertical bar in the display and you can't solve it, you can always refer to other LCD brand to see the solution. If the solution is to replace a component in T-con board then you get the idea and you then can apply to your faulty Hitachi LCD TV.

yes indeed this book is unique in the world. i printed in paper for more study and future refrences
but please answer to this question:
refer to page 22 of book hitachi model 26ld6200lcd tv
for repair i have to install 4 jumpers

Hi Beh,
If this model of lcd tv facing the audio noise from speaker, then you should install 4 jumpers there. It will easily filter out the noise to ground.

thanks for reply . but my another question is why manufacturer did not instal the jumpers on the pcb?
and let us to do this? this is purposely by them ?

Hi Beh,
yes, actually the manufacturer must install the smd jumpers there. may be manufacturer forgot to put in or that batch of amp pcb board they want to cut cost! Lol...
actually this model hitachi lcd tv is using the VESTEL chassis, that's mean this board not manufacture by Hitachi. You can refer to the picture in side the ebook page 22.
