ONEPLUS Bullets Wireless Z Bass Bluetooth Not Working No Power
Friend of mine met me on weekend with his not working Bluetooth Neckband for repair. I tried to power ON the device but it won’t…….
On physical checking everything is seems ok, hence I started process of opening the unit. As you can see one end is connected through battery side & another is from control circuit side, hence I decided to first open the circuit side. It is very delicate to open….
I opened from rubber side groove you can see very thin line in above photo which join rubber & plastic.
Just apply petrol or Falcon 530 Spray for few times, keep a side for few minute then just pull the rubber back side using nose plier (Don’t press the plier with heavy force just pick the rubber side & slide it).
Now remove top rubber of control panel switches using Knife.
Now pull the PCB outside from where rubber is removed, before that clean the glue from inside which is applied to secure the PCB.
Following Connections showing from Battery side
Checked Battery voltages it shows 4.3v seems Battery is Ok.
While visual inspection of the PCB- I seen a very dim Red LED light is visible. That indicates power is ok but it is not releasing from somewhere…checked PCB visual no damage checked switches seems OK.
Note: for this type of devices always refer the user manual for some operating knowledge. As I do not have manual for this device, searching on the net I found some hint. You have seen many Bluetooth neckbands some of them are having Magnets which sticks both the earpiece while not in use.
Which put the device in standby mode while both the ear piece is stick from magnet side. But in my case Bluetooth device is not detecting itself when try to pair with the mobile. That means it is not completing the circuit in some manner which awake the device.
So I decide to open earpiece One by One to find out if any cable is shorted or removed from the inside…. So first I cut the ear piece from the control circuit side. So opening the ear piece I followed same process which I did at the time of removal of rubber line by using the petrol.
Removed the white glue from inside to remove the magnet sensor from the other side.
I found total five wires are used for this side of the unit, 2 wires for speakers & 3 wires for the sensor
I have written total five wires & photo showing six wires??….
After black wire I wrote gold wire. That is not gold wire it is a thread of fiber for cable sleeve support & to add extra strength to the cable.
I also come to know while burning the tips of wire for applying the solder. Now it is time to solder the wires on the device.
Following is wiring detail of the sensor.
Soldered back everything.
As soon as I soldered the sensor I seen white light on the circuit, it indicates circuit is complete now. I opened Bluetooth in my mobile & seen device is paired played some songs it played songs with nice quality.
Now time to re-assemble the unit.
Here the job is finished successfully. Problem in the device is may be some wire broken from the ear piece end side which looks ok from the outside.
This wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t get the reference on the net. Matter of just take an effort.

Those magnet earplug sensors are definitely a completely new thing to read about. Thanks for sharing this.
Although repairing devices that are heavily glued and harder to open are not my thing. Also because I do not know where to get the special petrol or Falcon 530 Spray.
