The actual part number is PC817. You can read the below post for more information:
Note: Sometimes, IC manufacturers will cause confusion to those who want to try to understand the part number. They added some extra alphabet or even numbers before and after the IC part number just like the above case. For a beginner they would not be able to locate the exact part number. For seasoned repairers like us we can easily tell that the part number is the famous PC817 that is commonly found in many consumer switch mode power supplies.
The manufacturers should be sensitive in labeling the part number according to standard coding systems so that we as repairers or those who try to understand the part number would not face any problem. This means a PC817 is PC817 and do not add in more code on the same line to make people confuse. They can add in their coding or version or any number below the actual part number.
Another example is the P60N50 or any FET part number that is start with P. The actual part number is STP60N50 but because the manufacturer did not put in the “ST” it will be hard for repairers to try to locate the actual datasheet. Sometimes I do ask myself why the manufacturers want to make our life as repairers so tough. Just print the actual part number and everyone will be happy. Is it hard to print the actual part number?
