Trouble In BIOSTAR PC solved

By on January 28, 2014

A customer phoned me very desperate because his PC was not working and he had suspected the SMPS fault.

When I opened up the chassis of his PC I saw lots of dust all over the chassis and the rest of the parts.

The SMPS had one bulged e-cap (470µF/16v), it was tested as bad with my Blue ESR Meter I bought from Jestine Yong.

Once the e-cap in the power supply was replaced and the PC was cleaned , the PC worked like charm.
