One of my ERG members sent to me these two photos below about the SCR tester that he had built. It was nicely done-congratulation!

but jestine how this scr tester works because one of the hook that i do not know is A OR K OR G is not conected to scr is conected to air
but the bulb is on?? or may be is a new invention in scr tester?!

THE BLACK WIRE IN BOTH PICTURES IS FREE AND NOT CONECTED TO SCR
BLACK MUST BE CATHOD WIRE THAT GOES TO HOOK AND HOOK GOES TO SCR ?

I built it but the main problem is I can not find test probs for the project..could you please tell me where can I order them from? thanks

H Beh,
Actually once the scr is triggered, you can remove the gate pin and the bulb will still light.
