I always recommend my members to get parts from this website Bluestar-online.com because i had tried their service and found it to be fast. However early of this year i have a member from Indonesia who emailed me saying that even after he had waited for two months he did not get any news from the company. So i emailed the person who is in charge which is Mr Jonathan William and was assured by him that he will resend the parts to my member again.
Recently i got his email from my member and here is the email:
” Dear Jestine,
I am still waiting for the order to arrive, but I really doubt Mr. Jonathan Williams’s sincerity about his dealing with this matter. This is my first case that my foreign order has not arrived. My previous order with Anatek didn’t have any problem even with USPS Priority Mail, even it took longer time to arrive since at least I got the order label number.
I just don’t know how to help myself but to wait the order everyday. Hope you could help me look into this matter wisely.
Thank you for your assistance.

Mr Bailing already waited another 2 more months and yet to get his spare parts. That means he already waited for more than 4 months!
This time when i try to reach Mr Jonathan William i did not get any response from him eventhough i had sent three emails to him. I had tried to call the company but the line just can’t get through. I do not know why he (Jonathan William) don’t want to respond to my email.
The reason i write this email is to check if anyone out there have any bad experience with this company or this is just an isolated case? I wish to hear from you and if the feedback was not good then i will immediately stop recommending to any of my ERG member. Thanks!

As an individual tech residing in the US, so far nothing ordered have had any problems. We did offer Blue Star to join our parts-link website as a sponsor, and gave a special promotion offer doubling their subscription, but to my surprise they elected not to participate, and would not give any specific reason why. We had the same experience as this back in 2002 when we first asked them , but have never heard of any parts delivery problems such as this. If they were a member of parts-link we would work on your behalf to get resolution, as it would show they have a big commitment to the industry, but for now it appears they are not concerned, and therefore do not qualify to be a member if they show no interest in these issues.

i ordered a lamp early this year and i had warranty for a year. well my lightbulb went out on the t.v. so i called 3different times and im yet to get a phone call i also emailed them and no response. they are quick to take our money,but when a problem occurs there are not there for you. this is terrible guest service!!!

Thanks for sharing. For your information Mr Bailing parts eventually arrived but after many many months. If he reply the email and tell us the status or whatsoever then is ok but in the above case he does not bother to reply my email even after sending few emails to him.

I don't think there is any good reason reccommending this company to someone.
I recently ordered 2 FAN7311 from these guys but up till today (2weeks later) i don't have a single word from them. I have sent about 4 emails but no reply. I have called more than 6 different times but constantly sent to an answering machine. If they are only interested in collecting money and not being able to answer to simple phone calls nor emails then it is really a pitty. I envisage getting the parts from else where. I can't wait or months. That is not good business. Stay blessed.

I have had problems with bluestar myself. I will always use http://www.suburban-elect.com/ from now on, I have done lot's of business with them , the prices are good and the customer service is awesome.

I am having similar problems. I returned a bulb which was under warranty to them 3 months ago, and have had no response from them. Also, they NEVER answer their phone. Obviously, they are not a reputable company.

I bought two pieces (TDA8703) that were never delivered. They do not respond to emails or phone calls. I had paid by paypal. So I asked PayPal to intercede for me and refund my money, they succeeded. Thank PayPal.

i have had purchased a DLP lightbulb from them. I received it and had stopped working after 3-4 months since we received it, so i sent it out for a warranty exchange. I've never spoke with them. the voice mail box is full every time i call. I also tried emailing them. The last email I've received was stating where to send it to. i have tried multiple times after that email asking questions about my warranty and how long will it take, and if they have received it because it has been almost a month since Ive sent it back. i
I really hope they will send my replacement soon. I put my money into this product and it wasn't cheap. I really wont recommend anyone to trust this company. Very unsatisfied customer.

i HAVE RECORDS OF ORDER AND E-MAIL AND ALL RELATED COMMUNICATION-WHICH IS NEVER. iWAS TOLD 3 MONTHS AGO THAT THEY WOULD CHECK WITH CARRIER TO LOCATE MY PARTS WHICH I ORDERED 2 MONTHS, PRIOR. i REQUESTED 1 MONTH AGO TO PROVIDE ME A TRACKING NUMBER AND THE NAME OF CARRIER, NO REPLY. i AM GONNA CALL THIS SOB.

It's been over a week since i ordered my dlp lamp and still waiting to receive it. Made numerous calls, all going to voice mail. Also sent emails. No response what so ever from them. Would you have Jonathan Williams e-mail handy? I'd like to send him a personal email. i will never recommend this company.
