    why dont you try with some flat smd led bulbs (for no drilling) which comes in various electronic gadgets you will get them in your country too! i had done them with my laptop some 2 yrs back, and the idea work fine with good luminence and visibality just get a saperate power supply for the led's panel you make and  you are with led back light for your lcd panel.

    My monitor has feedback circuit and if i would use leds how will i defeat the feedback circuit without the display shutting down?

      Do you mean you remove the backlight and replace it with LEDs?

    Yes cause backlight is bad and reddish and cause the lcd to shutdown in one second

      HI Wimpie,

      I have not done such modification before.If you are using LED then you do not need inverter board. You need a LED driver board.
