A Broken Fan On A Dirty Welding Machine Replaced. Model: Mini 250H
One of my regular customers brought me this welding machine for repair. The customer explained that the welding machine works fine but it goes into shut down on hot days.
I got these comments a lot from many welding technicians and if you look to the photo of the fan I am sure you going know why the welding machine was over heating and shutting down.
In other words, if the machine shuts down on a hot day something is wrong with it and on cooler days it does not shut down very often that is ok? That is the question I asked the customer and he did not find an answer except he wanted fixed as soon as possible.
Look at this dirt and dust accumulating inside this machine. Of course many technicians they only send their machines for repair only when it shuts down; they do not believe in doing any kind of maintenance once a month at least.
That is the other side of this dirty welding machine and of course as always I get my air blower out and blow it clean and make it better till it comes back to me the next month dirty and dusty again. I just cannot put any kind of sense into such lazy people.
I cleaned it as much as possible and then I added the new fan with the same specs and powered on the machine. As seen, it is up and running.
It is time to put the cover back and call the customer for pick and maybe this time he would listen to me but we will never know till the next month when I see the same machine back in my shop with the same symptoms.
I only got the green light on and that is a very good indication that all is well. If the yellow light on the other side was on, then we would have a different repair issue but I was glad it was not on.

Those customers should be sensible enough to know that a dirty and defect welding machine costs them money twice! First for not being able to use it and second for paying you for the repair!

Try taking persons to different doctors then help them get their medicines and then you find they refuse to take the medicine. They want to talk with different doctors. That annoys me.

Good repair work.The point is,there are some set of peoples in some continents that don't have maintenance culture in there life style, so there is nothing u can admonish on this matter.
