A Samsung TV with No Backlight Repaired and Maintained
This TV was brought to me for repair by a friend of mine and asked me to replace the backlight on it. I confirmed the fault by powering on the TV and with a flash light directed to the panel and I could see the Samsung logo starting and therefore a new backlight was needed so let us get started.’
I do not want to bother with the details of taking the TV apart but here is the LED light being
tested with an LED tester and I could see that the top left LED is out.
When I tested the lower side all of the LED strip, the whole thing did not come on; if you check the meter voltage 321 DC which indicates a short somewhere on that strip which calls for replacing both LED strips of the TV.
From a local provider in my area I was able to locate the exact replacement and I was able to install them without any hassle.
Just a reminder for such situation; always replace all the LED strips in TV’s even if one of the LED lights is out. Some technicians short out the faulty light to light up the whole strip but that will not last long so it is always replace all the strips.
Once I installed the LED lights back and put everything together after I dust clean all the boards and inside the TV I powered it on and as seen, the TV is up and running.
I called the customer for pick and we were both happy with the outcome.

A well known backlight fault nicely fixed that always takes the most time to solve in tv repair!

Albert: yes it used to take about any hour for such size but this one did not take that long to get it fixed. I guess practice makes perfect. have a blessed day

So, how to handle the delicate screen as a technician finds access to the faulty screen LED lights is an important process that must be explained thoroughly with emphasis on handling the screen cautiously least it as much as cracks. leave alone breaks.
