Congratulations to the new trained Engineer! A great way to start this new year 2022 and best of luck to all trained engineers!
The single analogue meter showing on one of the desks probably is only needed in those special cases when we want to check the now uncommon germanium semiconductors on diode current leakage or when we do not want any slow reacting LC displaying meter. I do have one but never use it anymore, although I know still many engineers think highly about using their (often also old and expensive) analogue meter.

Hi Albert,
Thanks for the comment. Analogue meter is still my choice of meter when want to check for leakage in semiconductor components. For beginners, Analogue and Digital multimeter are the best combination to use for troubleshooting and check most of the electronics components in a circuit board. If have the budget, they can get the ESR and Ring tester too.
