I totally agree with being carefull when soldering. sometimes extra heat is used and the battaries are either will go bad or explode..that could be very dangerous. the tip of the battary from both sides are soft and something the solder does not stick to them the way it should be. so to make it extra strong. I used a sharp knide and cut tiny small lines on the both tips of the battaries then add solder to them. from experience, I found that method very effective in adding more strength to the soldering.

How are you.
The knowledge of battery rebuilding is marvelous and catchy.
But, Precautions need to be followed in order to work done successfully. however, mostly batteries having plastic PCB circuitry inside the battery which handle hard sometimes. therefore, its always upto to the worker how they handle safely and take results upto the requirements.
Well done for providing guidance.
