Prediction Of An Expert In This Forum Came True In SAMSUNG LED TV UA32FH4003R
I request you all to visit the link of an article provided below, which was published on 8th March, 2026, in which one of our experts made the following comment:
Albert van Bemmelen – March 8, 2026 at 4:14 pm -Your tv repair knowledge again is outstanding! Thanks for sharing dear Parasuraman. Hopefully fixing backlight led strips will become better accessible in the near future because having to remove the lcd panel on top first is always a high-risk procedure. Often described as a PITA (lol)!
I have highlighted and underlined the exact sentence where he predicted that this TV would come back for backlight replacement. The visit of the TV earlier was in August, 2025. It got back to me in April, 2026 with the backlight issue. I am not repeating the images already covered in the earlier article and giving only those are relevant to this article.
In Samsung TVs, the backlight would come on even when not connected to the mother board. I tested that after opening the TV, which had not collected any dust requiring an extensive cleaning. The required voltage for the backlight was present, but LEDs were not getting on. So, I dismantled the TV and moved the panel to my bed in the adjoining room:
I bought replacement LEDs and fixed it and checked it:
After fixing the panel back and running the TV for sufficient hours, I informed the customer to come and collect, which she did happily because of school holidays. I attended to the TV on the same day itself mainly because of this.
Children mainly depend on watching their favourite channels like cartoon and games during holidays and I did not want to deprive of their fun time. Following are the pictures of the TV in working condition and the discarded backlight ‘bows’ and its domes that came lose when removed.
Mission accomplished and satisfaction got added to the collection without any hesitation!

Sorry to hear that this tv came back for another timeconsuming repair dear Parasuraman. But I would not so much as confirm that I made a prediction on this tv. As you know I am no tv expert. And from experience we already have seen other tv models revisiting for additional repair work in the past too.
It is just that I made a remark that fixing backlight led strips should have been made so much easier!
My brother's 50 inch LG tv with now at least 10 fallen off led diffuser light caps needs a repair soon too to fix all those visible bright sunny spots. But removing the top 50 inch large panel without breaking or polluting the lcd panel or its diffuser plates is a big and risky task. And gluing all caps back on including those that have not fallen off yet is something I am not really confident about either. Last year I already bought UV hardening transparant glue and an expensive big silicon sucking frame to lift the glass lcd panel safely but have never used it before either. And it also requires a large clean table and the right time and weather to disassemble such a large tv.

It was just for some fun, that's all, dear Albert! Any article with a catchy caption would attract readers and that was the intention. No offence meant!
About your 50" TV, I request you not to worry. Take a large size lamination sheet which will not bend or similar strong but smooth material, after releasing the panel from all sides. Then keep the scaler board and COF stuck on the front side with a few tapes so that they do not get torn. Then gently insert the sheet horizontally or vertically until it reaches all sides of the panel. Then use spongy gloves and gently lift it putting your palm and fingers underneath to the center of the panel for balancing, while holding the bottom edge portion with the other hand. If possible take help from your brother to hold one side but with soft gloves. Never apply downward pressure on the panel at any place. Then move it to any vacant bed. Do the rest of the work and reverse the process. I have explained all these in my previous articles. Kindly refer to them. Or watch any youtube video. All the best.

Yes, fully understood dear Parasuraman. Of course I know what we are supposed to do but I still rather take on any other much smaller repair.
Repairs that do not involve these large breakable glass plates with questional liquids in them and similar risky stuff.

Yes, you definitely have the freedom of choice and decide what to take and what not to take. Many thanks, dear Albert!

I wonder why the tv came back for a backlight replacement again barely 8 months after it was first replaced, why the led strips did last long, or could it be tv is heavily being use by owner?
Good repair again sir.

When the domes fall off, it is an indication that the back light LEDs have reached the last stage of its life. But that time, replacement of the LEDs was not done due to budget constraints. This time, the customer was forced to spend and that it why it was done now. But the TV worked in that condition for a few months and that is a solace. Many thanks for your involved comments and queries, dear Imoudu! Special greetings and love from India!

Could it be that the LED strips you replaced earlier dd not match the required voltage or there was over usage of the tv by the owner? Sometimes it is demoralizing to see the same tv coming for repair again and again. Thanks for article Parasuraman

There was no replacement of the LED strip last time. Only fallen domes were fixed back. Many thanks for your comments!
